Must clearly demonstrate 3 years' of Records Management Experience within the past 10 years.
Must clearly demonstrate three (3) years of experience interpreting enterprise taxonomies, metadata and business rules in an Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS)
Demonstrated experience with a document tracking system such as CCM Enterprise.
Demonstrate via experience analysing records for disposition and completing accessions for transfer to Library and Archives Canada
DUTIES OF THE RESOURCE:
Monitor, evaluate and provide enterprise level records management services including:
Creating file jackets/labels, cross-referencing and placing documentation on appropriate files while reviewing files to ensure that documentation is correctly ordered (e.g., date sequencing errors, documentation incorrectly assigned to file);
Taking appropriate corrective action including reorganising documentation and reassigning misfiled documentation to correct files;
Implement and update records classification, retention and disposal schedules
Requirement to lift, carry, bend, stretch and climb to retrieve and put away files/boxes to a maximum weight of 30 pounds; there will also be a daily exposure to dust from boxes and files
Respond to queries and requests from clients using an automated system such as Assyst.
